Hi,
myopenid.com is down, and has been apparently for a couple of days.
No problem I thought, because I have delegated my openid to my homepage http://jamiek.it. I switched provider, which now works on stackexchange, but on Branchable I have two issues:
i) I get:
Error: OpenID failure: time_bad_sig: Return_to signature is not valid.
ii) on my specific site, http://tasnjamie.com the provider seems to be cached to myopenid.com, I guess I just have to be patient, but do you have any idea of when it might update?
I need access due to the spam on http://tasnjamie.com/Accommodation/#comments, is there a bulk delete option?
Thanks, Jamie
About the openid problem, I have seen the "time_bad_sig: Return_to signature is not valid" message, and it doesn't seems to have anything to do with timing, but instead probably means there is something wrong with your openid delegation.
There is no caching done of openid delegations on Branchable. You might find that restarting your browser or clearing its cache or deleting cookies clears out whatever is causing it to still use myopenid.com.
About the spam problem, the best interface available is to use a git checkout, which lets you
rm
all the spam easily.I've gone in and deleted the 2048 spam comments on that page, as well as 1058 additional spam comments that were in the moderation queue. And some thousands more attached to your recentchanges page.
I've added a new feature to ikiwiki to allow banning IP ranges, and have banned the subnet that was used for all of these spam comments.
Thanks Joey.
Strangely my jamiek.it openid seems to work in ie but not firefox.
Now that Branchable supports login using email address, we can switch accounts from using a defunct openid provider to an email address. Just get in touch with us.
